I have worked as a psychotherapist since 1982.

My special interests include working with both couples and individuals on a wide range of the problems they experience in their lives.

I work with people who wish to achieve a new and better understanding/resolution of their personal and/or relational conflicts – within both romantic or intimate relationships and parent/child ones and the unique connection between the individuals in these.

A better understanding of symptoms can be accomplished within a reasonably short time, especially once people recognize how to identify the build up of their symptom – be that depression, anxiety or panic attacks, or difficulties with sexuality.

Others may wish to work on their overall wellbeing or seek insight into issues that lie deeper inside their personality and don’t seem to have immediate rational explanations.

I supervise psychotherapy students from AUT, and psychotherapists in private practice.

I am also an experienced group facilitator, a Founding Member of NZIPP training group and a member of NZAP Supervisor’s group.
